Although the beam pattern produced by conventional halogen bulbs is good, there is still room for improvement. Too concentrated light can make drivers lose their field of view on both sides and cause highlight spots on the road. This time, HIKARI combines two lensed LED beads with a 0.06-inch copper sub-mount. The lensed LED lamp bead can diffuse the light evenly from the center of illumination to the periphery. The copper sub-mount with a center thickness of only 0.06 inches makes the two LED beads form a single light source, which may not blind the oncoming traffic.
