These bulbs are shatterproof because they're made from PolyFlex PET, a lightweight plastic that won't crack, break or shatter when dropped or roughed up by weather. Inside the bulbs are FlexFilament's signature curved LED filament, lined with LED diodes so they look more like vintage incandescent Edison bulbs, but without the heat and with much greater energy efficiency -- less than 0.8 watt per bulb. Plus they're dimmable.
These bulbs feature an E12 (candelabra) base. (Please be sure of the base size you need before ordering.) They are rated to last up to 20,000 hours, and they feature nickel bases which resist corrosion for longer, more reliable bulb performance.
