Direct Replacement for: Broan NuTone models listed below which have 7”x8” grill recess to mount reflector.  (again check that yours measures the same! otherwise below situations apply....) LED upgrade for: Broan NuTone fluorescent models (with F, FL or FLT suffix) which have 7”x8” grill recess — use in place of CFL socket S1023B000 reflector (for example 655F-C) Conversion part for: all original Broan NuTone models (fluorescent or incandescent) which have old style reflector  5”x7.75” --  which fits narrower 5.5” recess (5.5”x8.25” recess) in old style grill ) . 
This reflector is used to replace the original narrower
old style reflector . You'll also need to replace your narrow opening old style grill/lens with current style wider opening grill & lens
