It has a single contact base (see pictures) and is a 12-volt DC bulb (can range from 12-16 DC Volts). The BA15s (1156 / 1141) base has ONE contact on the bottom and two parallel lugs on opposing sides of the base 180-degrees apart. This super bright light bulb replaces your existing light bulb without modification or adjustments (see pictures). As a non-polarity bulb it has a universal application and rewiring is NOT required. It is 200%-300% brighter than your old bulb. To brighten up your Boat or RV it's as simple as changing a light bulb. It is the same size as your standard bulb so it's a direct fit.
