This bulb is 52mm tall from bottom contact to the top of the lens, and slightly over 19mm at its widest point. It is brighter, lasts longer, and uses less watts (but is 10x brighter per watt). This is a non-polarity bulb so you just plug it in. It will work with a positive ground electrical system. This bulb is custom made with a front projection lens, the beam angle is 360 degrees, it has a steel base and an alloy body. One of the brightest bulbs in its class; 500% brighter than a standard bulb! However, it is the front projections that makes it so effective. It's just a better engineered than other bulbs. This bulb is intended for a 6-volt DC system. It can function as low as 6-volts and as high as 32-volts DC. The voltage at the light socket, at full throttle, should not exceed 32-volts DC. If your machine has AC volts at the light socket this bulb will flicker and burn out in seconds. To get DC volts to your light socket you can wire the light socket directly to a battery with an on/off switch or add an in line voltage rectifier.
