The BA15d base has TWO contacts on the bottom and have a staggered height tabs (lugs) on opposing sides of the base 180-degrees apart. These super bright light bulbs replace your existing light bulbs without modification or adjustments (see pictures). They are 200%-300% brighter that your old bulbs. To brighten up your Boat or RV it's as simple as changing a light bulb. They are the same size as your standard bulb so it's a direct fit.
