They have a 1142 / 1076 double contact base (see pictures) and are 12-volt DC bulbs (can range from 12-16 DC Volts). The BA15d base has TWO contacts on the bottom and two parallel lugs on opposing sides of the base 180-degrees apart. These super bright light bulbs replace your existing light bulbs without modification or adjustments (see pictures). As a non-polarity bulb they have a universal application and rewiring is NOT required. They are 200%-300% brighter that your old bulbs. To brighten up your Boat or RV it's as simple as changing a light bulb. They are the same size as your standard bulb so it's a direct fit.
